As a caregiver, I work within the client’s home. Duties include assisting clients with personal care such as bathing, toilet functioning, hair grooming, dressing, and ensuring clients take their daily medication and on time. When necessary I transport clients to their doctor appointments, run errands, and clean clients living quarters. Some clients require assistance with preparing meals.

2016-present: Biology Teachers Assistant Winston Salem, NC

Tutored students, created biology assignments such as reading guides, graded case studies, documentation of grades via excel, created fun and engaging learning games i.e. kahoot, filed and organized classified documents  

 

2014-present: Lab and Research Winston Salem, NC

As a biology major at Winston-Salem State University (WSSU), I engaged in field and microbiology research under the leadership of Dr. Joanna Porter-Kelley Dr. Louise Allen and Dr. Teresa Singleton. My research experience included prepping microbiology labs, streaking nutrient agar plates, streaking PEA plates, gained the opportunity to work and study different microorganisms such as Bacillus, E-coli, and streptococcus aureus.
